  • Proteau used the Lotteries app to check the Québec Max ticket she bought with her spouse.
  • When his spouse told him they’d won the jackpot, Bourgault didn’t think she was serious initially. Proteau admits she’s a bit of a prankster. Bourgault only believed her once he saw the draw results for himself!
  • The newly minted millionaires say they want to wait a little before making any plans on how they’ll spend the money.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Boni-Soir on Boulevard Bourque in Sherbrooke. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $20,000.
