Montréal, October 27, 2022 — Two Bas-Saint-Laurent residents took home major prizes in the past few weeks. One of them won a Maxmillions prize worth $1,000,000 in the October 7 Lotto Max draw. The winning ticket was purchased in Matane. Five days later, on October 12, another resident won $250,000 with a Multiplicateur mystère scratch ticket purchased in Saint-Vianney.
This newly minted millionaire plans to spoil her children
When she checked her Lotto Max ticket via the self-serve ticket checker, Lise Levesque couldn’t believe that she’d won $1,000,000. So, she asked the cashier at the pharmacy to validate her ticket. The latter then confirmed that Levesque had indeed won a Maxmillions prize! The lucky winner says she plans to spoil her children.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Pharmaprix located on Avenue Saint-Jérôme in Matane. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $10,000.

It only sunk in how much Jean-Claude Gagné had won once the cheque was presented to him. Gagné took home $250,000 with a Multiplicateur mystère scratch ticket. The lucky winner says he plans to make investments and buy himself a truck for when he goes hunting, which is one of his favourite pastimes.
The winning ticket was purchased at Ami Saint-Vianney, which is located on Route 195 in Saint-Vianney.
