Lotto MaxThis Laurentides man learned that he’d won $1,000,000 during his work break

Montréal, October 27, 2022 — Wilson Antonio Rodriguez Perez took home a Maxmillions prize worth $1,000,000 in the October 7 Lotto Max draw. The newly minted millionaire had purchased his ticket via Loto‑Québec’s gaming website, lotoquebec.com. The Laurentides resident learnt of his win while checking his emails during his work break. Once he counted all the zeros, he let out: “That’s a million dollars! That can’t be true!” Rodriguez Perez was very calm when he came by to pick up his cheque, and said he plans to invest his windfall.
