Lotto MaxPair of former co-workers from Montérégie split $1,000,000 win!

Montréal, November 17, 2022 – Montérégie residents Pascal Brazeau and Jean Séguin won $1,000,000 in the October 18 Lotto Max draw. Both of the lucky winners plan to invest their share of the prize.

Highlights

  • For four years, these former co-workers have been playing the lottery together, especially when there’s a really big jackpot up for grabs.
  • For every draw, they each buy a ticket and write both of their names on them.
  • As soon as Brazeau checked the ticket and saw how much they’d won, he called Séguin and said, “I don’t get it. There has to be a mistake!”

The winning ticket was purchased at Shell Rigaud in Hudson. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $10,000.
