Montréal, March 15, 2022 — Upon learning that a $1,000,000 prize had been won in the February 25 draw, Nissim Yananey was eager to check his Quebec Max numbers. The winner plans to not only pay off his student loan, but his mortgage as well, and make a donation to various charities.

The winning ticket was purchased at Dépanneur Kim-Y on Rue Ontario Est in Montréal. The retailer will receive a commission equal to 1% of the overall prize, i.e. $10,000.
