That morning, he found out the Banco ticket he’d bought on May 21 had won him $100,000. Both lucky winners play to renovate, make some investments and travel.

Marie-Paule Guilbault, a Lanaudière resident, took home the guaranteed $1,000,000 prize in the May 4 Lotto 6/49 draw. The happy winner is planning to rethink her current renovation plans and make some investments.

The winning ticket was purchased at Proxi Extra, located on Rue Héroux, in Saint-Liguori. The retailer will receive a commission equal to 1% of the overall prize, i.e. $10,000.

He discovered he’d won a quadrupled Banco prize on his birthday

Hebert, a Lanaudière resident, won $100,000 in Banco at the May 21 draw. He checked his lottery ticket while sipping his coffee on the morning of his birthday! The recent retiree just couldn’t believe he’d won such a large amount after betting just $1. The Turbo option, which he’d added to his ticket and gave him the chance to multiply a Banco prize, ended up quadrupling his winnings! Thanks to this windfall, Hebert is planning a trip with his spouse and will put some savings aside.
