Montréal, June 17, 2022 — In early June, Carina Roncato, a resident of Estrie, made a quick trip to the convenience store. While she was there, she had the clerk check some of her lottery tickets. Among them was a Québec Max ticket dated April 19 and whose existence she’d totally forgotten about. Roncato got the shock of her life when she found out it was a winning ticket—and worth $1,000,000!

The lucky winner plans to put her windfall toward investments and securing her future.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Couche-Tard on Rue Galt Ouest in Sherbrooke. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $10,000.
