Lotto MaxA Capitale-Nationale resident wins $500,000 with a ticket he purchased online

Lotto MaxA Capitale-Nationale resident wins $500,000 with a ticket he purchased online

Montréal, July 19, 2022 — Capitale-Nationale resident Real Saintonge won $500,000 in the June 28 Lotto Max draw with a ticket he purchased on lotoquebec.com. He says he plans to move, but first, spoil his two sons!

  • When it came time to buy his ticket online, Saintonge hesitated between a Lotto 6/49 and Lotto Max ticket. What convinced him to buy a Lotto Max ticket was the $70,000,000 jackpot. He ended up winning one of the $1,000,000 Maxmillions prizes offered in the draw that night! Another individual had the same numbers as him, so the prize was split between the two players, and Saintonge took home $500,000.
  • “It doesn't make sense!” Saintonge exclaimed when Loto-Québec called him to tell him the good news.
