$1,000,000A new Québec Max millionaire from Centre-du-Québec is crowned!
Montréal, July 5, 2022 — Kevin Provencher took home $1,000,000 in the June 24 Québec Max draw. He purchased the winning ticket with the $2 he won in the last draw. The Centre-du-Québec resident had to check his ticket via the grocery store's self-serve ticket checker twice to be sure of his prize because, as he recounted, “there were so many numbers!” Provencher’s emotions rose to such a level that he abandoned his shopping cart and left with only the million-dollar ticket! The lucky winner says he plans to make investments and build a house.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Couche-Tard on Boulevard Lemire in Drummondville. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $10,000.
In summary
The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $10,000. |
