Montréal, January 28, 2022 — Marc Labranche won $2,000,000 playing a 2 Million$ extrême scratch ticket. The Abitibi-Témiscamingue resident plans to spoil his loved ones and buy a new house.

Mr. Labranche was at the pharmacy when he was tempted to buy the ticket. He was in for the shock of his life when he got home and realized he’d won the $2 million grand prize! He quickly shared the good news with his father and his brothers and sisters, with whom he plans to share his winnings.

“I want to buy a house and adopt a puppy!” confided the new millionaire.

The winning ticket was bought at Pharmacie Jean Coutu on 5e Avenue Est, in La Sarre. The retailer will receive a $20,000 commission, equal to 1% of the prize.
