Montréal, January 27, 2022 — Guylaine Corriveau won $1,000,000 in the at-home prize draws during the Célébration 2022 gala, broadcast on TVA on January 9. The Mauricie resident won the million with a ticket she received as a gift from her employer!
“I checked my ticket and saw that I’d won $1,000,000! I checked at least 10 times to be sure!” said Guylaine, adding that she even asked her spouse to have a look at it using the Lotteries app.
The Mauricie resident says that she’s going to let the dust settle before making any decisions about what to do with her windfall.
The ticket was bought at the Metro on Boulevard Jean-XXIII in Trois-Rivières. The retailer will receive a $10,000 commission, equal to 1% of the prize.
