Formule super groupeA record number of winners from across Québec share a $1,000,000 Québec Max jackpot

Montréal, December 9, 2022 — A record number of winners share a $1,000,000 jackpot drawn at the November 29 Québec Max draw. The ticket, sold under the Formule super groupe, features 100 shares that were purchased in 14 regions across Québec. Each share is valued at $10,000. The lucky winners are therefore scattered across the province! As the holidays draw near, we urge everyone to check their tickets.

The winners did not know each other—they were brought together by chance. Their exact number will only be known when all the shares have been claimed. The holders of the winning shares have a year to come forward and claim their $10,000 share of the jackpot.

About Formule super groupe

Formule super groupe is offered at retail locations across Québec and allows players to purchase one or more shares in a lottery group, which are then pooled with those of other group lottery members. Formule super groupe lottery groups count anywhere from 21 to 100 shares and are formed in real time as the shares are purchased.

This new way to play the lottery as a group is an alternative to Formule groupe, which allows 2 to 20 shares per group and is offered in-store only, and Formule groupe en ligne, which allows 2 to 100 shares per group and is offered online at lotoquebec.com.

Close to $1.5 billion in prizes awarded

Loto-Québec has been delivering entertainment to Quebecers for over 50 years, and its operations benefit the people and province of Québec. During the 2021–2022 year, it awarded close to $1.5 billion in prizes to lottery winners—a record for the government corporation. Major prize winners are listed on the Winners page in the Lotteries section of the lotoquebec.com website.
