Montréal, December 6 — Montérégie resident Geneviève Rondeau won $1,000,000 in the October 21 Lotto Max draw. Rondeau rarely plays games of chance. She was gifted a ticket, which turned out to be a Maxmillions prize winner, for her birthday.

The winning ticket was bought at the Couche-Tard located at 3990 Chemin de Chambly, in the Longueuil borough of Saint-Hubert. The retailer will receive a $10,000 commission, equal to 1% of the prize.
