$1,000,000Gatineau resident can’t believe his own eyes and checks ticket three times!

Montréal, December 2, 2022 – Branislav Janjic, from Outaouais, took home a Maximillions prize, i.e., $1 million, in the October 18 Lotto Max draw. After seeing the seven figures on the self-serve ticket checker, the lucky winner went to another store to check his ticket with a different checker! Starting to believe his eyes, he had his ticket validated once and for all at the cash register and begged the cashier, “Please give me one million!” Mr. Janjic plans to take some time for himself before starting any new projects.

The winning ticket was purchased at Quickie L.C., located at 2 Boulevard Louise-Campagna in Gatineau. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $10,000.
