$1,000,000Joy is in the air for these Lotto 6/49 players in Lanaudière

Montréal, April 22, 2022 — Lanaudière residents Lucie Morel and Russell Mann were elated to find out that they won the guaranteed $1,000,000 prize in the February 12 Lotto 6/49 draw. It never even crossed Morel’s mind that she could win the guaranteed prize. She’d always tell her spouse when they’d be checking their tickets at home: “Forget that! We'll never win that,” referring to the guaranteed prize number.

The lucky winners, who’ve just recently come back to Québec after several years abroad, are currently looking to buy a new house. And no doubt they’ll be adding to their wish list!

The winning ticket was purchased at the IGA Extra on Boulevard du Grand-Héron in Saint-Jérôme. The retailer will receive a commission equal to 1% of the overall prize, i.e. $10,000.
