Lotto 6/49Twelve Capitale-Nationale residents split $1,000,000
Montréal, April 5, 2022 — A group of Capitale-Nationale residents had the good fortune to take home one or more $100,000 shares after winning $1,000,000 in the March 12 Lotto 6/49 draw. The winners were thrilled with this guaranteed prize, which was won with Formule groupe! They now plan to use this windfall to spoil themselves, travel and make investments.
A father and his three sons split two shares of the guaranteed prize
Ronald Bowles and his three sons, Emile, Jean-Pierre and Jimmy, are sharing $200,000. Ronald, who bought two Lotto 6/49 tickets while out on his daily walk, saw the results of the draw when he was at his retailer. He wasted no time in sharing the good news with his sons. “Our dad was so happy with this amazing news!” they said when claiming the prize. Ronald plans to take a trip to Cuba, while his sons will use their share of the prize to pay off some debts.
“Ma'am, you’ve won a lot of money!”
While shopping at the mall, Marie-Andrée Ouellet stopped at a lottery kiosk to check some tickets that were in her purse. “After glancing at the validation slip attached to the ticket, the kiosk employee, was shocked. She looked at me, all excited, and said, ‘Ma’am, you’ve won a lot of money!’” This retiree, who plans to invest her $100,000 win, was quick to claim her prize. “I was really happy to be able to pick up my cheque the same day. The ticket is now safe at Loto-Québec!”
His spouse told him he’d won $100,000
Jacques Thibault thought he’d won $100, then $1,000. It was his spouse who, after taking a good look at the validation slip provided by the retailer, told him that it was actually $100,000! “I don’t dream of winning millions, $100,000 is perfect for me!” said Jacques after admitting that he preferred to play as a group. The lucky winner, who told his children the good news via video conference, plans to invest the money.
Tears of joy first thing in the morning
Before even taking her first sip of coffee, Nicole Couture rushed to check the Lotto 6/49 draw results. She woke up her spouse to tell him the good news with tears of joy. The mother plans to spoil her whole family.
He had to triple check to believe his good fortune
Denis Gaudreault found out he’d won $100,000 with the online ticket checker. “I rechecked three times to be sure, and I kept getting the same answer: $100,000!” Denis likes playing as a group to have more chances of winning. He plans to invest the money.
A way of playing that “makes more people happy”
Sylvie Gaudreault Bastien always buys Formule groupe Lotto 6/49 tickets: “It makes more people happy!” Sylvie won a share of the guaranteed prize, i.e. $100,000. “You always think that winning the lottery only happens to other people,” said the winner, who plans to spoil herself, travel and make investments.
He hesitated between two group tickets
When Clément Gallant went to buy his newspaper, he noticed that his retailer had two Formule groupe tickets left: one Lotto 6/49 and one Lotto Max. After hesitating, he decided to buy both group shares, something he'll never regret! This retiree, who has been playing the lottery since 1970, will be able to enjoy a comfortable lifestyle thanks to the $100,000 he won with Lotto 6/49.
Right from the retailer to Loto-Québec!
When Lenden Cassivi plays Lotto 6/49, he always buys Formule groupe tickets. After learning that he’d won $100,000 when he checked his Lotto 6/49 ticket at his local retailer, he immediately went to the Méga Centre Beauport to claim his prize!
The last group member checked her ticket on her way to work
Luce Laverdière bought the group’s last Lotto 6/49 ticket at a convenience store after seeing there was only one left. She had it checked on her way to work. The cashier at the gas station told her that she’d won $100,000, after which Luce continued on to work, where she announced the fabulous news to two of her colleagues! She plans to spoil herself with “little treats” and make investments.
The winning tickets were purchased at the Sprint Duberger convenience store, located on Boulevard Père-Lelièvre in Quebec City. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $10,000.
In summary
The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $10,000. |
