Montréal, April 1, 2022 — Ginette Gagnon Lepage and Conrad Lepage, who live in the Centre-du-Québec area, won a Maxmillions prize worth $1,000,000 in the March 18 Lotto Max draw. The lucky numbers were on a free ticket, which they won in a previous draw. When the retailer validating the ticket saw $1,000,000 pop up, she asked aloud, “Did I just see what I think I saw?!” to which Ginette answered: “You bet!”
The happy couple intends to spoil both themselves and their children a little.
The lucky ticket was purchased at the Jean Coutu pharmacy at 4534 Boulevard Saint-Joseph in Drummondville. The retailer will receive a commission equal to 1% of the overall prize, i.e. $10,000.
