Montréal, April 29, 2022 — Montrealers Filomena D’Amico Del Balso and Nicola Domenico Del Balso took home the $1,000,000 grand prize in the April 13 Extra draw. The couple said they plan to spoil their nieces and take some time to think about what they want to do with their windfall.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Maxi & Cie on Boulevard Maurice-Duplessis in Montréal. The retailer will receive a commission equal to 1% of the overall prize, i.e. $10,000.
