Montréal, August 30, 2022 – Patrick Riendeau, who lives in Montérégie, was the lucky winner of the $1,000,000 top prize in the August 5 Extra draw! When the retailer handed him a ticket that didn’t match what he’d asked her for, Riendeau told her, “I’ll keep it. Maybe it will bring me good luck.” It was a wise decision, because that ticket made him a millionaire! The lucky winner says he plans to make investments and buy an electric car.

The winning ticket was purchased at Korvette, located on Rue Principale, in Bedford. The retailer will receive a commission equal to 1% of the overall prize, so $10,000.
