Montréal, November 9, 2021 — Serge Grondin took home $1,000,000 in the October 15 Québec Max draw. When he found out he’d won, the Montérégie resident quickly contacted his financial planner to make sure he’d be able to tell his employer of 30 years that he was retiring.

 

Serge would like to return to live in Bas-Saint-Laurent, where he was born. The new retiree also plans to buy an electric bicycle and is looking forward to playing golf with his new equipment.

 

The winning ticket was bought at Tabagie Versailles on Rue Sherbrooke Est in Montréal. The retailer will receive a $10,000 commission, equal to 1% of the prize.
