COVID-19: Loto-Québec suspends several of its operations

Montréal, December 20, 2021 — Following the measures announced today by the government and in accordance with its commitment to abide by the measures issued by public health authorities, Loto-Québec will temporarily suspend several of its operations until further notice.

Starting at 5 p.m. today, Loto-Québec will:

  • Close its four casinos and its performance venues
  • Close its two gaming halls
  • Suspend network bingo

Due to the closure of bars, Loto-Québec will also:

  • Deactivate all video lottery terminals
  • Suspend Kinzo

However, lottery sales are not impacted by these new COVID-19 restrictions and will continue at all retail outlets. Prize claim offices in Montréal and Quebec City remain open according to the current terms and conditions, by appointment only.

The Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu and Hilton Lac-Leamy hotels and their restaurants remain open, as well as the St-Hubert take-out counter at the Casino de Charlevoix. Their hours will be posted on lotoquebec.com.

Loto-Québec will continue to monitor the situation closely. These temporary measures are necessary to protect everyone’s health and safety at the present time. Loto-Québec urges the public to exercise caution, particularly by following public health guidelines.
