  • Liliane was emotional when she got a call from a Loto-Québec customer service employee, on the day after the April 13 Lotto Max draw, telling her that she’d won $15,231,359, i.e. half of the jackpot. The other half was won in another province.

  • The lucky woman, who purchased her ticket online at lotoquebec.com, hadn’t yet had time to look at the results, so the Loto-Québec employee invited her to do.

  • “I saw that it was true, that I had the winning ticket, and that the amount was what the employee had told me. It was incredible!” said the winner, who was quick to tell her spouse and children the good news.

  • The newly minted multimillionaire says she wants to wait a little before making any plans on how she’ll spend the money. However, she did treat herself to a new pair of glasses!

  • Spoiling her children, landscaping her home, and travelling to Europe once circumstances allow are in her plans.



“There have been many Loto Max winners in the province since the start of the year.
