$100,000A passion that paid off—big time!

Montréal, July 2, 2020 — Capitale-Nationale resident Christian Gauthier won $100,000 playing annual Mise-o-jeu pool on lotoquebec.com.

In summary

  • Game: annual Mise-o-jeu pool
  • Prize: $100,000
  • Winner’s place of residence: Capitale-Nationale

Highlights

  • For the second time in three years, Christian has won the annual Mise-o-jeu pool, and is now $100,000 richer. Christian is a pooler who follows stats and player profiles very closely. One thing he noticed was that “when you’re in the lead, other players look at what you’re doing and sometimes copy you and make the same bets.”

  • That’s why he’s made it a habit to place his own a few minutes before midnight. He even sets his alarm clock to wake up just in time to do so!

  • This year, he says his star player was J.T.  iller of the Vancouver Canucks. As for his favourite team, Christian says it’s the Winnipeg Jets.

  • In fact, he plans to use his windfall to attend a game in Winnipeg, and then another in Vancouver to thank Miller in person!
