Gatineau, January 12, 2020 – Capitale-Nationale resident Isabelle Foster has just had the experience of a lifetime during a dream weekend when she attended a spectacular show and became a Célébration 2020 millionaire.
Luck was on Isabelle’s side during the elimination draws for the 41 finalists from across Québec. The winning ticket was bought at the Dépanneur St-Siméon, located at 517, rue Saint-Laurent, in Saint-Siméon.
“I’m so excited, I can’t believe this is happening. I can only imagine my family and friends watching the show live on TV. They must be thrilled! I plan on letting the dust settle a bit and giving myself time to think about what I will do with my winnings,” said Foster, a full time employee at Canada Post and part-time employee at Casino de Charlevoix.
Other winners are Michel Poisson, from Centre-du-Québec and Guylaine Leblanc, from Montérégie, who won the tidy sum of $100,000 each.
The Célébration 2020 gala, recorded at the Théâtre du Casino du Lac-Leamy in Gatineau, was aired on TVA this evening. Marie-Mai hosted the show and Sébastien Benoit announced the winning numbers. Joël Legendre staged the show featuring performances by Louis-Jean Cormier, Claude Dubois, Geneviève Jodoin, Koriass, Marie-Mai, the DM Nation dance troupe, Kim Richardson and performers from the Britishow musical review.
During this 31st edition of the Célébration gala, several draws were conducted to award prizes to people with tickets at home, including one $5 million prize and five $1 million prizes. All winning numbers are posted on loteries.lotoquebec.com.
