Montréal, February 3, 2020 – Abitibi-Témiscamingue resident Marco Plante took home the $1 million grand prize in the January 16 Banco spécial draw.

  • Nevertheless, he went back to work after discovering his win. Once he finished his work shift, he showed the picture to his boss, saying “See ya ‘round, I’m off to make my dreams come true!”

  • Marco made the long drive to Loto-Québec’s offices in Montréal along with his mom and brother to pick up his prize.

  • Members of Marco’s family were very emotional when they heard the news. They said that he’s always been the lucky one in the family!

  • The winner will be taking it easy for a couple of months in order to plan his future according to the opportunities that come up. One option will be to fuel his inventive talents.
