Montréal, September 20, 2019 – Raymond Poulin and Francine Tremblay took home the guaranteed $1 million prize in the September 14 Lotto 6/49 draw. The Estrie couple and several family members celebrated the event at Loto-Québec’s head office.

• He never goes to bed before checking his tickets.

• At about midnight on September 14, he noticed that the guaranteed prize had been won in Québec, so he wrote down the results to compare them with his ticket.

• Raymond then joined his spouse in the bedroom and asked her: “Not sleeping?” 

• The lucky couple checked their ticket at least twenty times before actually believing that they’d won!

• About fifteen family members went along with the winners to pick up their cheque at Loto-Québec’s head office.

• Raymond and Francine have lots of plans, including a train trip across Canada and another to Italy. They will, however, take some time to consider their options.
