Montréal, April 15, 2019 — Six co-workers from the National Capital Region, Bas-Saint-Laurent, Mauricie and Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean regions won $1 million through the Québec Max draw on March 29, with a ticket they purchased online at lotoquebec.com. The ArcelorMittal employees each took home a share of $166,667.

In summary

  • Lottery: Québec Max (ticket purchased on lotoquebec.com)
  • Prize: $1 million
  • Category: Additional prize
  • Draw date: March 29, 2019

Highlights

  • The winners who work together in Fermont, 14 days at a time, decided to start playing the lotto as a group a few years ago.

  • The winners plan to treat themselves to a few perks with their winnings—a new boat, new BBQ, some new furniture and a trip were among those each stated.

The winners are:

  • Nicolas Bordeleau, Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean

  • Christian Côté, Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean

  • Patrick Gagnon, Bas-Saint-Laurent
