Montréal, November 20, 2018 – Montérégie resident Ginette Lemieux walked away from the October 26 Lotto Max draw with $1,000,000.

  • “How many zeros?” asked Ms. Lemieux when she had her ticket validated at the retailer. When the store clerk confirmed she had won a million dollars, she had to hold onto the counter with both hands, before getting a hug and crying tears of joy.
  • Because Ms. Lemieux wanted to tell her spouse in person, she waited several hours for him to come home from work.
  • Once he was home and sitting down, Ms. Lemieux told him she had won the lottery.
  • “$1,000? $10,000?” he asked. She finally gave him the big news when she told him the actual amount of her winnings!
  • The couple plans to travel and pamper their children.
