• The last time Mr. Rouleau won a prize, it was $250 at the lottery Olympique. That was in April 1974. So he has been waiting his turn for quite some time! This time, it happened on June 16: Mr. Rouleau won $1,000,000, a bonus, thanks to Québec Max.

• When he realized he had all the numbers of the winning combination in the newspaper, he cried out for a first time although he was still doubtful. He cried out a second time when he realized it was true! He shouted out so loud that his neighbours heard him.

• He waited for the convenience store to open and went to verify his ticket using the self-serve ticket checker.

• “I think I only got four hours’ sleep in the night from Sunday to Monday” said the winner.

• He plans on buying a 4 x 4 to go hunting. He dreams of renting an RV go with one of his sons and his family to go visit another son living in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
