Events and festivals
As a partner in Québec’s entertainment industry, Loto‑Québec supports events that are selected based on their potential for drawing tourists and generating social and economic spin-offs for communities, as well as on actions taken to reduce their impact on the environment.
Events that also complement our entertainment offerings or can be added to programming in our gaming establishments are also considered.

Criteria for Loto‑Québec sponsorship
To be considered, the event must meet certain criteria.
1. Category
The event must take place mainly outdoors, may have a “festival” format and have been held at least three previous times.
2.Corporate responsibility and spin-offs
The event must bring people together, have significant economic and social spin-offs for the community, and have been developed in such a way as to reduce its impact on the environment. In fact, we’ve incorporated ecoconditionality criteria into our processes for granting and managing sponsorships, in keeping with the 2021–2022 Loto-Québec Corporate Social Responsibility Plan. The application form therefore outlines the practices that organizers of events added to our sponsorship portfolio will have to abide by as part of their agreement.
3. Potential for programming
In areas served by a gaming hall, the event should have strong potential for added-value programming relating to the establishment’s entertainment offerings.
