2nd Chance PromotionShe won big with a non-winning ticket!
Montréal, November 26, 2025 — Montérégie resident Marilyn San Pablo won a $1,000,000 lottery prize, even though her Lotto Max ticket wasn’t a winner in the original draw! She won the grand prize in the 2nd Chance – Dream Big Promotion draw on October 24. This draw was conducted among all lottery players across Canada who had entered the promotion using their Lotto Max tickets. And a Québec player won the jackpot for the second year in a row!
Highlights
- Marilyn San Pablo regularly buys Lotto Max tickets, which she checks using the Loto-Québec app, making it easier for her to enter the 2nd Chance Promotion.
- She learned the great news when she received a call from Loto-Québec informing her that she was the grand prize winner of the Dream Big Promotion, thus becoming a millionaire thanks to a Lotto Max ticket!
- She plans to use her windfall to pay off her mortgage and spoil her loved ones.
- In October 2024, Jacques Poulin from Chaudière-Appalaches had won the grand prize.
The ticket that won Marilyn San Pablo the promotion’s grand prize was purchased at the Jean Coutu pharmacy on Chemin de la Grande-Ligne in Rigaud. The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $10,000.
