Montréal, February 25, 2024 — The record La Poule aux œufs d’or jackpot was finally won after over one year during the February 25, 2024, episode! Terrebonne retiree Jacques Sénécal took home the record $1,527,000 prize.

  • Sénécal got a double in the jeu des roulettes and won $2,000 in the Machine à Poule bonus game.  Having won three eggs when the doors opened at the start, he moved on to the next stage directly.
  • Sénécal chose egg number 7, which contained the record prize of $1,525,000. This whopping sum was added to the amount he had already won, bringing his total windfall to $1,527,000. It’s the biggest jackpot ever awarded at the La Poule aux œufs d’or show!
  • The lucky winner plans to rent a cottage on Prince Edward Island and travel with his family.
  • The winning ticket was purchased at the Familiprix pharmacy at 4790 Rue d’Angora in Terrebonne.

  • “Gros lot”—but it’s even more so when the amount is so significant!”
