Highlights

  • Josée buys several lottery tickets, including a Gagnant à vie ticket, every week.

  • When she uncovered three diamond symbols on her ticket, it didn’t cross her mind that she’d won the grand prize. It was when she went to check her ticket that she found out she’d won $1,000 a week for life!

  • The first thing Josée did was call one of her sons. When the latter sensed her jittery composure over the phone, he thought the worst. However, once she began talking, he soon realized that he was on the receiving end of some great news from “a mother who truly deserves it.”

  • The lucky winner decided to opt for the $1,000,000 lump sum.

  • With the money, Josée says she plans to take a trip to a tropical destination, pay off a few debts and spoil her children.
