$1,000,000 Québec Max - A nice Valentine’s Day gift!

Montreal, March 4, 2019 — Montérégie resident Monique Raymond won $1,000,000 in the Québec Max draw on February 15. She’ll be sharing the prize with her spouse, Jean-Pierre Bourcier, and their sons, Jean-François and Simon Bourcier. The winning ticket was a Valentine's Day gift!

  • On February 14, Jean-Pierre Bourcier gave his wife Monique the lottery ticket for Valentine’s Day.
  • The couple then went on a trip for a couple of days, leaving the ticket tacked to the fridge door.
  • A few days after they returned from their trip, Monique went to check her ticket at the retailer’s.
  • It was a huge surprise when $1,000,000 flashed on-screen!
  • The family then came to Loto-Québec to claim their prize two weeks after the draw.
