Highlights
-
On Tuesday, May 21, Denise Deroy sat down to play the MegaJackpotsTM CleopatraTM slot game.
-
Distracted by the TV, she didn’t notice that the five symbols she’d landed had just won her the $520,055 progressive jackpot. So she kept on playing, thinking that someone else had won it.
-
That’s when a member of lotoquebec.com called her to tell her that… that someone was her! “Are you serious? I’m trembling inside.” Her spouse didn’t even believe her! “I’ll believe it when I see the cheque!”
-
Denise says the money will probably be used to renovate their secondary residence, which is a century home, and redo the patio at their primary residence. The couple, who live in Gaspésie, also want to treat themselves to a night out at the Casino de Charlevoix, which is something they’ve always loved doing!
