$351,031Talk about a Christmas gift!

Montréal, January 30, 2019 – On December 24, Montréal resident Gina Stocola pocketed $351,031 while playing Odds of the Gods on Loto-Québec’s online gaming website, lotoquebec.com.

In short

  • Lottery: Odds of the Gods
  • Prize won: $351,031
  • Winner’s place of residence: Montréal

Highlights

  • On Christmas Eve, Gina Stocola was sitting snuggly at home with her faithful pooch at her side when she decided to bet a few dollars online.

  • Seeing as she loves progressive slot games, she chose to play Odds of the Gods.

  • After pocketing a small win, she saw a diamond appear on-screen, followed by a message stating that she’d scored the jackpot! She then dropped her tablet in shock. “I thought the computer had a virus!”

  • She called her daughter to tell her the news, but couldn’t get the words out. Sensing that Gina was getting emotional, her daughter’s first thought was that the dog had passed away. But then Gina finally got out the words: “I just won $350,000. Come over now!”

  • Gina plans to share the winnings with her daughter, and use some of the money to treat her best friend to a dream trip to Vegas!
