Montréal, October 25, 2018 – Capitale-Nationale resident Thérèse Marcotte Leclerc won a million dollars at the September 28 draw of Lotto Max and chose to “share the wealth!”

Highlights

  • While at the grocery store with her daughter and son-in-law, Ms. Marcotte Leclerc decided to have her Lotto Max ticket validated. When the cashier saw the amount won, she called her manager before even telling the customer the news.
  • Concerned about the winner’s reaction, the manager took her daughter and son-in-law aside to explain the situation. The two waited until they were in the car to tell Ms. Marcotte Leclerc that she was a millionaire!
  • Her first reaction was to share her winnings. She came in to claim her prize, surrounded by her spouse and five members of the family, who all received a piece of the pie!
