Montréal, October 12, 2018 – Unaware that she had won a million dollars, Réjeanne Larose greeted her friend Jacinthe Lambert with a “Hey, millionaire!” the day after the draw. The two lucky Capitale-Nationale winners pocketed $1,000,000 at the October 5 draw of Lotto Max.

  • Thinking she had won $20, Ms. Lambert went to a self-serve ticket checker and saw several 0s preceded by a 1! She asked her friend, “Do you see what I see?”
  • “My eyes filled up with water. I was so shaken that we couldn’t find the winning combination when we wanted to see which one made us winners!” said Ms. Lambert.
  • Ms. Lambert intends on retiring early.
  • One thing’s sure, they both wish to continue travelling!
