Montréal, October 25, 2018 – Centre-du-Québec residents Danny Breton and Sonia Blais won $1,000,000 at the October 12 draw of Lotto Max.

Highlights

  • Danny Breton and Sonia Blais don’t play the lottery on a regular basis. But after seeing the ads for all the Lotto Max prizes in play, the decided to try their luck.
  • They checked their ticket themselves, but went to the convenience store to be sure because they thought they were seeing too many zeroes. Once the ticket was validated by a retailer, Mr. Breton showed the validation coupon to the person behind him in line to make sure he saw the same thing.
  • The couple plans to take time out to reflect before making any plans on what to do with their winnings.
