$1,000,000A new millionaire thanks to a ticket purchased in Drummondville!

Montréal, May 18, 2018 – Ontario resident Steven L. Geisel won a prize of $1,000,000 at the Lotto Max draw of May 11. The winner was just passing through Drummondville while on a business trip when he purchased the lucky ticket at the Couche-Tard located on Rue Girardin Nord.

 

The retailer will receive a 1% commission of $10,000.

  • At the beginning of the week, Mr. Geisel remembered that he had purchased a Lotto Max ticket. He went to the Loto-Québec website to check it. To his great surprise, he learned he had won a $1,000,000!
  • He couldn’t believe his luck and checked the numbers over and over again to be sure.
  • “I even asked my mother and brother to take a look and make sure they saw the same winning numbers” he said.
  • Mr. Geisel plans to use his winnings to pay off his mortgage, pamper his mother and brother and make a few investments.
