  • Reading the lottery results in the newspaper on Saturday, June 9, Mr. Dubois realized he had won a Maxmillions the draw conducted the day before.
  • The Eastern Townshipper went to the convenience store to have his ticket validated. The clerk exclaimed: “I can’t pay out this prize here!”
  • Mr. Dubois will use his million dollars to treat his family and buy an RV to eventually drive to the Pacific coast. Before that, however, he plans go to Gaspésie where he met the woman of his life!
  • The romantic in him wishes to continue a project he holds dear: work on a home he built with his own hands.



  • “I just can’t believe I’m a millionaire!,” he said to his wife of 30 years.


Lottery prize payments in gaming halls and casinos
