Lotto MaxShe learns she is a millionaire more than a month after the fact!

Montréal, July 19, 2018 – Montréal resident July-Chinna Su won a Maxmillions prizes at the Lotto Max draw of June 8.

 

Highlights

  • While looking at her Facebook feed, July-Chinna saw media posts indicating that Loto-Québec was looking for a million-dollar winner who purchased their ticket in LaSalle.
  • She was at work when she saw the news and remembered that she had not yet checked a ticket sitting on her kitchen counter for a few weeks. She was anxious to get home and check her ticket!
  • It was indeed the winning ticket. So more than a month after the draw, she came to collect her check! 
  • “Thank you for sending out that news flash!” said the winner’s mother who was with her daughter when she came to claim her prize, mentioning that she nearly threw the ticket away while cleaning a few days earlier. “You always need to check your tickets” she added.
  • The winner plans on making a few investments and to pamper herself a bit. Despite being of Chinese-Cambodian origin, she has never been to her parents native Asia, and plans to visit soon.
