Montréal, April 18, 2018 – Two Bas-Saint-Laurent sisters, Michèle and Nicole Desrosiers, won the million-dollar guaranteed prize at the April 11 draw of Lotto 6/49.

  • Michèle was at home with her son when she checked the results for Lotto 6/49.
  • She called over her son to confirm what she saw on her screen. After he checked the numbers and confirmed she had won, he brought her to the convenience store to officially validate the ticket.
  • She gave the ticket to the cashier who told her that she was indeed a millionaire!
  • Then she called her sister, Nicole, with whom she shares the million dollars. Michèle told her she had just won $500,000!
  • Renovations, a new garage, a new car and travelling are all in the cards for the sisters thanks to their million-dollar win!
