$1,000,000 Two friends win one of the grand prizes at 100 $ ULTIME

Montréal, April 16, 2018 – Outaouais residents Éric Fournier and Roger Plante share a million-dollar grand prize at 100 $ ULTIME.

Summary

  • Lottery: 100 $ ULTIME
  • Prize won: $1,000,000
  • Category: Grand Prize
  • Draw date: April 5, 2018
  • Winner’s place of residence: Outaouais
  • Retailer: Promenades Gatineau lottery kiosk (1100, boulevard Maloney Ouest, Gatineau)
  • The retailer will receive a 1% prize of $10,000.
  • Claim centre: Casino du Lac-Leamy, Gatineau

Highlights

  • The two good friends had a feeling that they should buy a 100 $ ULTIME ticket together. Mr. Fournier was confident; he practices positive visualization and regularly reads a piece of paper on which is written “I will win the lottery someday.”
  • Mr. Fournier realized that they had one of the winning combinations the day after the draw. They were among the first 100 $ ULTIME winners to make themselves known to Loto-Québec to organize their prize claim.
  • After filling out the claim forms at the Casino du Lac-Leamy on April 6, the two winners returned on April 12 with friends and family to celebrate and pick up their cheques.
  • The first thing Mr. Fournier plans to buy is a construction truck with all the bells and whistles for the family business, while Mr. Plante plans on helping out his loved ones.
