- Mr. Girard was with a colleague at work when he scratched the ticket: “Look at that!” he said when he realized he had won. He immediately went to the closest store to confirm he had really won the $2,000,000 grand prize.
- “Now I can really say that I work for the joy of working!” the winner confided, stating that he’s not ready for retirement just yet.
