Montréal, August 27, 2018 – On August 21, Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean resident Pierre Girard came in to claim the $2,000,000 grand prize on a winning 2 000 000 $ suprême scratch ticket.

  • When Mr. Girard, a bit of a prankster, announced the good news to his family, no one believed him!
  • This wasn’t the first time he purchased a 2 000 000 $ suprême scratch ticket. He had actually purchased several: “I was sure that one day I would win!”
  • Mr. Girard was with a colleague at work when he scratched the ticket: “Look at that!” he said when he realized he had won. He immediately went to the closest store to confirm he had really won the $2,000,000 grand prize.
  • “Now I can really say that I work for the joy of working!” the winner confided, stating that he’s not ready for retirement just yet.
