Involved citizens win at Lotto Max

Involved citizens win at Lotto Max

Montréal, August 16, 2018

Members of the Mouvement citoyen de Chambly created a group on Loto-Québec’s online gaming site and purchased a Lotto Max ticket. They hoped to win the jackpot in order to buy the Chambly golf course and turn it into a green space, a dream that could still come true!

While the group did not win the jackpot, they still pocketed $4,000 last July 20. The five winners spontaneously decided to donate part of their win to help the Mouvement citoyen de Chambly pursue its mission, which is to inform and raise awareness among Chambly residents regarding local issues, including the promotion of participatory democracy, in cooperation with elected officials, in order to establish and maintain physical and social milieus that are conducive to the well-being of all citizens.

In short

  • Lottery: Lotto Max
  • Prize won: $4,000
  • Category: 6/7
  • Draw date: July 20, 2018
  • Winner’s place of residence: Montérégie
