Montréal, March 1, 2017 – Laurentides resident Fernand Mainville pocketed a $1,000,000 grand prize with an additional selection at the Québec Max draw of February 17.

Winner’s reactions
• When Mr. Mainville went to the hospital for an appointment, he expected to be in for a long wait. To his surprise, he was called almost immediately.
• Later, he went to the SAAQ where, against all odds, there was no wait!
• His luck reminded him of the Loto-Québec advertisement, so Mr. Rainville decided to buy a lottery ticket. His luck continued: the ticket won him a million dollars!
• After learning that he won, the lucky winner didn’t leave the house all weekend, but rather waited at home for the Loto-Québec offices to open on Monday morning.

Claiming lottery prizes in gaming establishments
Lottery prizes may now be claimed at the gaming halls in Trois-Rivières and Québec City as well as at Loto-Québec’s offices in Montréal and Québec City. The same service is available at the Casino de Montréal, the Casino du Lac-Leamy, the Casino de Charlevoix and the Casino de Mont-Tremblant.
