Millionaire with just an 80¢ bet
- Ms. Bouchard won $1,000,000 with an 80¢ bet.
- When she saw she had won $1,000,000, the lucky winner put on her glasses to make sure she had correctly read the numbers displayed. She then immediately went to announce the good news to her mother in person.
- Thanks to her calm disposition, Ms. Bouchard remained composed as she awaited the call from the Espacejeux.com customer service team.
- Ms. Bouchard will be taking time to reflect on her new-found fortune, but she does intend on purchasing a new car in short order.
- She received her cheque on July 21 during a festive meeting at the Casino de Charlevoix.

Powerbucks
- Crown of Egypt is linked to the Powerbucks jackpot.
- Already offered in other Canadian jurisdictions, Powerbucks, with its progressive jackpot beginning at $1,000,000 and a $1,000,000 fixed grand prize, was launched on Espacejeux.com as well as in Québec’s casinos and gaming halls in January 2017.
- Powerbucks is innovative, as it links online gaming to on-site machines in addition to being network-connected with British Columbia and Manitoba.
- This collaboration makes the progressive jackpot grow quickly thanks to the large number of players who contribute both online and in establishments across the three provinces. The minimum bet is only 50¢.
- The first progressive jackpot had hit $1,700,000 when it was won last April at the Casino de Montréal.
