Lotto 6/49Last chance: Loto-Québec is looking for a millionaire in the Mauricie region

Montréal, February 2, 2017 – The deadline for claiming a winning Lotto 6/49 ticket purchased in Trois-Rivières is coming up soon. February 27, 2017, i.e. one year from the draw date, will be the last day to claim the prize.

Check your handbags and wallets. Empty your drawers and glove box. Look under the sofa and in your coat pockets. If you find an old lottery ticket, it could be worth $1 million!

On December 29, 2016, after Loto-Québec’s last reminder (such as this one), Serge Ouimet and Timmy Nepton-Ouimet, father and son from the Laurentians, went to the Corporation’s headquarters with the winning ticket they has just discovered. They returned home with a cheque for $1 million, won in the January 27, 2016, Extra draw, i.e. 11 months later.

Similarly, the claim deadline is also coming up for another unclaimed $1 million prize. It is a Lotto 6/49 ticket purchased on March 19, 2016, in Dorval.
