Lotto 6/49$1,000,000 - A Laurentides resident wins a Guaranteed Prize!

Montréal, February 28, 2017 – Every week, Pierre Guérin picks up a combination lottery ticket using the Quick Pick option. When he found out he had won a million dollars, the Laurentides resident checked to see which lottery had brought him luck. That’s when he saw the he was the only winner of Lotto 6/49’s million-dollar Guaranteed Prize for the draw of February 8.

Winner’s reactions
• Mr. Guérin first checked his ticket using the Lotteries apps. When he saw the amount won he checked his ticket several more times to make sure he had indeed won $1,000,000. He thought that the app might not have been working correctly!
• He then went to a retailer to validate his ticket and erase all doubt.
• The winner’s good fortune will enable him to take an early retirement.

Claiming lottery prizes in gaming establishments
Lottery prizes may now be claimed at the gaming halls in Trois-Rivières and Québec City as well as at Loto-Québec’s offices in Montréal and Québec City.
